What I wore today 11/25!

I didn't really walk away with too much for Black Friday. Matt was out in line at Best Buy getting my christmas present and as soon as he got home I got ready so we could leave for the mall. Last year I worked the morning shift so before clocking in I was able to do a little bit of shopping and I found some pretty good steals... this time not so much. I bought something for my brother at the Disney store, I went to so many stores; Cotton On, Wet Seal, Macy's, Love Culture, Shasa... I like to go into stores I don't usually shop at because on rare occasions you run into something good. I ended up just going to Forever 21 and buying a couple of items.

This top was one of the items that I bought! It's a cropped black velvet bustier~ My cardigan is also from Forever 21, while my pants are from American Apparel and my shoes are from Payless.

Sweetheart cuts on tops are a real weakness for me. Depending on the fabric and/or style of the person, it can come off as innocent or take a turn and be super sexy!

Style Shot Saturday #2!

I'm tempted to make these "style inspo Saturdays" because I know not every post will be just style shots, but I really enjoy alliteration. I'm building up an arsenal for a few "Style Icon Saturdays", I'm still deciding who to use/gathering pictures, blah.

Enjoy!

~Happy Thanksgiving~

I was going to do a more elaborate "Things I'm thankful for" post, but one of my friends is currently borrowing my hard drive so I guess that's out of the question.

Today I woke up and got ready to go with Matt to his aunt's house for food.
When we got there the food wasn't quite ready yet so everybody was playing Just Dance. I want that game so bad! I didn't bring my camera in so I don't really have any pictures but the food was so good!

While still in food coma, we went to my aunt's house and didn't really eat anything besides pumpkin pie.

I'm so thankful for my boyfriend, my dad, my wonderful friends that have stuck around for so long... my list also extends to silly stuff like the internet and whatnot.
Matt and I are planning on sitting outside of Best Buy so he can buy my christmas present (he doesn't think I know what it is but I totally do) so I should be snoozing right now, not to mention that I close at work tomorrow night. Did I mention that I'm also going to do my own shopping at around 5am?

Happy turkey day y'all!!
