What I wore today (flashback) 1-24-14/Ebay rhinestone tights

I really don't care for cold weather too much. My wardrobe is full of skirts, dresses and 20 denier tights. We don't get much of a winter here in Texas, but when it gets cold I bundle up. When I'm cold my whole body tenses up and I'm constantly clenching my teeth and everything is just tight, haha!

I bought these rhinestone tights off of ebay for a lolita coord. I bought them in dark blue and black, one with (probably) 20 denier and then... whatever this one is. I really like the opaque ones, I can tug and pull on 'em and I haven't had a rip yet! I don't have any "good" pictures wearing the thinner tights but the second I tried on the black pair, I got a rip in them from pulling them up! The fact that these rhinestones are on them doesn't help with that either.

I successfully wore the thin dark blue pair but I had to be very very careful when putting them on and taking them off!

San Japan Sinister 6

The sixth year of San Japan was August 16, 17, 18 and it was my third year going! I think its about time I start going to other state cons! One reason is because this year was kind of lame, and the second reason is waiting until the next year takes too long haha.

I don't really have much to say of the con, unfortunately. There weren't really that many amazing cosplays and I only went to one panel and didn't care for it.
I'm hoping that next year will be better!

Here's what I wore on August 16.

My dress is Elpress L's "Garden's Capulet" and all the accessories are from Taobao as well. I had originally planned to wear some wristcuffs but I guess I didn't read the listing right and was sent flowers that you can pin onto wristcuffs.

On August 17, I cosplayed as Misaki Mei from Another. I don't really have any "good" pictures of it although I did get my picture taken throughout the day, I haven't been able to find any anywhere!

Under the cut I'll have pictures we took of cosplayers, pictures from the lolita fashion show, and a few more pictures of myself and my friends!

While coming back from Paradise Canyon on Easter, I noticed this image in a little area next to my friend's apartment. Apparently it opened up about a month ago!
I've been meaning to get my hair cut for the longest time. My hair right now is just a mangled mess; I haven't cut any of it (with the exception of my bangs) ever since I shaved it! So there's no order or style to it at all, which is why I always wear it in a ponytail or bun haha.

I'm hoping to go in for a cut and style... the whole shebang! I don't really have any idea what I want, if I want it to be super short or whatever, but I'll think of something!

Easter weekend!

A lot of people in San Antonio are constantly going to "the river" or "the lake" but never really specify the name or whereabouts of the spot. I don't know if they assume everyone knows where they're talking about or if they just don't bother with details.
One spot that a couple of my friends have been to is Paradise Canyon.

I've never really gone to any sort of river/lake thing, mainly because I don't know where to go.

Joe drove me, Lizzie, Ian (her son), and Matt out to meet up with his family for swimming and food. I was so excited I woke up before my alarm went off!
The drive wasn't too far out and didn't take that long but the road was very bumpy!

The most concerning things about natural waters are... natural things. Fish or other underwater creatures in the water, I don't want to be swimming with them and I'm pretty sure they don't appreciate swimming with me! There wasn't any to be found in the water though! It was very rocky, had a somewhat strong current and was ICE COLD! The obvious solution to the water problem is to just submerge yourself in it and get used to it but I'm a baby haha.
